An “Ulus Center Orienteering and Spatial Analysis Event” was organized by the Smart Infrastructure Technology Program of Bartın University Ulus Vocational School on May 5, 2026, within the scope of the “Computer-Aided Technical Drawing” course curriculum.

Aiming to reinforce students’ theoretical education through field practices, the event was held in and around the center of Ulus district. Bringing together fieldwork and orienteering disciplines, the program provided students with the opportunity to experience navigation, map reading, and spatial data directly in the field.

The event enabled students to integrate the computer-aided design and spatial analysis theories they learned in the classroom into real-world conditions. Based on the motto “Learn in the field, explore your location, apply your knowledge,” the activity concluded after the students successfully reached the designated points and completed their spatial analysis reports. The event made a significant contribution to students’ professional development and analytical thinking skills.
