The “Addiction Awareness Project,” conducted by students of the Smart Infrastructure Technology Program within the Department of Construction at Bartın University Ulus Vocational School, has been successfully completed.

In the project, Çınar IŞIK served as the project coordinator, while Olcay UZUN, Nazım B. DEĞİRMENCİ, Burak ÖZBAKIŞ, and Mehmet A. DODOK took part as researchers. The project was supervised by Lecturer Dr. Nurçin SEYMEN AKSU.

Within the scope of the project, various awareness-raising activities were carried out to increase awareness about addiction, particularly among young people, and to promote a healthy lifestyle. In this context, awareness events aimed at combating addiction were organized in cooperation with the Turkish Green Crescent (Yeşilay) at the Bartın Organized Industrial Zone, Ulus Industrial Zone, Ulus Akmercan Batıkar, and Ulus Vocational School.

In addition, the students involved in the project contributed to social responsibility activities as volunteers of the Turkish Green Crescent (Yeşilay).
