Students of Bartın University’s Smart Infrastructure Technician Program, Muhammet Ali Yeşilöz, Mehmet Kaan Masat, Muhammed Ali Arslan, Şahin Yıldırım, Ahmet Önder, and Bünyamin Atak, successfully carried out their social responsibility project titled “Be Prepared for Disasters at Schools.”

Conducted under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Nurçin Seymen Aksu, the project included informative activities at schools aimed at raising disaster awareness and improving preparedness processes.

During the activities, students were informed about appropriate behaviors during disasters, the importance of safe assembly areas, basic preparedness steps, and the need to act consciously. The program, in which children actively participated, attracted considerable interest with its educational content and awareness-raising approach.

The project was carried out with the support of MoNE AKUB and contributed to the development of social awareness on disaster preparedness through cooperation among the university, relevant institutions, and students.
