Exemption Exams for YDI-101 and YDI-102 Courses for Students Placed at Our University through Additional Placement in 2025

The exemption exams for the 2025–2026 Academic Year YDI-101 (Foreign Language English I) and YDI-102 (Foreign Language English II) courses, for students placed at our University through additional placement in 2025, will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 15:00.

* The exemption exam for YDI-101 Foreign Language English I and YDI-102 Foreign Language English II consists of two sections, each containing 20 multiple-choice questions, for a total of 40 questions. Questions 1–20 belong to the Fall Semester course YDI-101 (Foreign Language English I), while questions 21–40 belong to the Spring Semester course YDI-102 (Foreign Language English II). The duration of the exam is 50 minutes. Each section will be evaluated separately and independently.
* Each student will take the exam in the building of their respective unit. The classrooms where the exams will be held will be determined by the units and announced on their official websites. Students are advised to follow their unit’s website for details regarding the exam locations.
* Participation in the exemption exams is optional. There is no obligation to take the exams. Students who wish to be exempt from these courses may choose to participate. Students who want to take the exams must apply to their respective units.
* Following the completion of the exams, the list of students who will be considered “exempt” based on the evaluation results will be communicated to the relevant units.
